Software / IT professionals, it's the right time to act

When everybody seems to be talking about job cuts and unemployment in the Software / IT industry you need to take more care of yourself. Act NOW!

1. Food sheath - Be on healthy, wholesome diet. Avoid junk food. Follow disciplined routine for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Remember, you become what you eat.

2. Energy sheath - Maintain optimum level of energy. Stop energy dissipation. Channelize your energy towards important tasks of life. Sleep well. Take proper rest. Do yoga postures and Pranayama regularly.

3. Emotional sheath - Don't allow emotions to overpower you. Don't hit panic button. Learn to understand the emotions before you act on their instructions. Talk to your trusted friends, family members. Seek their inputs and guidance. Enhance your soft-skills. Follow someone who inspires and motivates you.

4. Intellectual sheath - Sharpen your skills. Learn new and relevant technologies. Avoid information overload. Read good books. Try to apply what you learnt. Follow some experts from your field who speak the words of wisdom.

5. Bliss sheath - Don't think you are here only to enjoy worldly pleasures. Try to identify some higher purpose of your life. Be grateful. Stop complaining. Help others. Meditate regularly. Take a stroll in nature. Go for a morning walk. Find the inner connection.
