Untitled 1

Daughter of the Mountain

When you go to the Himalayas only for sightseeing, your senses become captive of the breathtaking beauty of the mountain. But when you go there for spiritual seclusion things are altogether different. You need to prepare yourself first for such an experience. Because along with beauty you also see unity. You will find a spiritual ecosystem flourishing everywhere. Then you will understand what is expansion of consciousness that scriptures keep talking about. Then your heart joyfully sings -

O darling of Shiva! Daughter of the Mountain, giver of blessings, who applies paste of turmeric on her body, who sports a bewitching smile, who is kula-kundalini for the wise....

O Goddess! who has pity on her devotees, In past , in present and in future, In sleep , in dream and even when I am awake, By mind, by words and by my action, Let me be able to worship you always....

O Mother of all yogis! Do not make any more delay in destroying our ignorance. Take us to your abode... We salute you again and again....
